Vertical Turning Center
At Toolcraft Machining, we pride ourselves on being an industry leader in Vertical Turning, offering solutions for parts up to 93” in diameter, 63” tall and up to 33,000 lbs. We take an innovative approach and are capable of handling a wide range of parts from heavy and robust to thinner, less stable parts in a wide variety of materials. We challenge you to find a vertical turning application that is not within our scope of capability.
We machine everything from common alloys such as A36, A572, A633 to Super Alloys such as Monel K500, Titanium, and Inconel. No matter what it is forging, casting or fabrication we have the people and experience to figure out your challenges and get it done.
Advantages of our CNC Vertical Turning Center
Flexibility
Vertical Turning Centers put gravity on your side allowing more set up options for thinner walled precision parts but are also ideal for handling heavy, large or awkward workpieces that require high metal removal.
Stability
Vertical Turning Centers are designed to provide superior stability for larger parts. It’s a crucial part in our CNC machining process for achieving high precision and accuracy during CNC machining operations.
Chip Management
The design of Vertical Turning Centers is better chip management, allowing chips to fall naturally away from the cutting zone, producing parts with dimensional accuracy and an enhancing surface finish.
Live Tooling
Toolcraft Machining’s VTL’s all boast milling and drilling capabilities. Combining operations in one machine offers higher efficiency, throughput, and increased accuracy.
