Our Horizontal CNC Turning Advantages

Versatility

Horizontal Turning Centers are highly versatile machines capable of performing a wide range of turning operations including facing, turning, boring, and threading.

Live Tooling

Horizontal Turning Centers offer various tooling options including live tooling which increases productivity, reduces setup time and the amount of set ups. C and Y axis capabilities allow us to perform drilling, face milling, thread milling operations on a part turned in the same set up.

Automatic Centering

For precise workpiece centering, hydraulic 3-jaw chucks offer unmatched efficiency. Toolcraft boasts 4 machines equipped with this technology, capable of handling workpieces up to 39 inches in diameter.

Chip Excavation

The force of gravity can be a valuable asset in deep boring and standard turning operations. It helps to improve surface finish and process repeatability, especially when working with deeper cuts.
